There is music for every taste on the Great Inland Way. Look for festivals in places like Capella, St George, Charters Towers and Dirranbandi or head to the local pub for a night out with live music.

Food and wine events, poetry recitals, historical re-enactments, bike rallies, Easter Festivals galore, Halloween and burn-outs – there is always a festival somewhere along the Great Inland Way

For a true country experience we’ve got agricultural shows, rodeos, campdrafts, cutting shows, race-days (horse and greyhounds), field days, fishing competitions and even mud trials!

Strike it rich along the Great Inland Way with festivals celebrating Australia’s national gemstone of opal (in Lightning Ridge), sapphires (in the Central Highland Gemfields) and gold (in Clermont).
